- 第1爻 初九初九 · 阳爻歸妹以娣，跛能履，征吉。The marrying maiden goes as a junior concubine; a lame man able to walk; going forth brings good fortune.
- 第2爻 九二九二 · 阳爻眇能視，利幽人之貞。A one-eyed man able to see; beneficial for the steadfastness of a solitary person.
- 第3爻 六三六三 · 阴爻歸妹以須，反歸以娣。The marrying maiden waits as a servant; she returns and marries as a concubine.
- 第4爻 九四九四 · 阳爻歸妹愆期，遲歸有時。The marrying maiden delays the time; a late marriage comes in its own time.
- 第5爻 六五六五 · 阴爻帝乙歸妹，其君之袂，不如其娣之袂良，月幾望，吉。The emperor Yi gives his daughter in marriage; the princess's sleeves are not as fine as those of the junior bride; the moon is nearly full: good fortune.
- 第6爻 上六上六 · 阴爻女承筐無實，士刲羊無血，無攸利。The woman holds the basket, but there are no fruits in it; the man stabs the sheep, but no blood flows; nothing is favorable.
