- 第1爻 初九初九 · 阳爻壯于趾，征凶，有孚。Power in the toes; going forth brings misfortune—this is certain.
- 第2爻 九二九二 · 阳爻貞吉。Steadfastness brings good fortune.
- 第3爻 九三九三 · 阳爻小人用壯，君子用罔，貞厲。羝羊觸藩，羸其角。The petty person uses power; the noble person does not; steadfast, yet perilous. A ram butts a hedge and gets his horns entangled.
- 第4爻 九四九四 · 阳爻貞吉悔亡，藩決不羸，壯于大轝之腹。Steadfastness: good fortune; regret vanishes. The hedge opens, no entanglement; strength like the axle of a great cart.
- 第5爻 六五六五 · 阴爻喪羊于易，無悔。Losing the sheep with ease; no regret.
- 第6爻 上六上六 · 阴爻羝羊觸藩，不能退，不能遂，無攸利，艱則吉。A ram butts a hedge; he cannot retreat, cannot advance; nothing is favorable. If one endures the difficulty, good fortune.
