- Line 3 九三3rd line · Yang公用亨于天子，小人弗克。A prince is feasted by the Son of Heaven; a petty person could not manage this.
- Line 4 九四4th line · Yang匪其尫，無咎。Not flaunting his abundance; no fault.
- Line 5 六五5th line · Yin厥孚交如，威如；吉。His sincerity is mutual and dignified: good fortune.
- Line 6 上九Top line (6th) · Yang自天佑之，吉無不利。Blessed by Heaven: good fortune, nothing is unfavorable.
